Boiler Room Full of Mold
The boiler room had a massive leak in it. Although the leak was addressed and repaired, it caused mold to grow all over the boiler room.
Mold Growing on the Baseboards
Some of the mold had started to grow along the baseboards on the opposite of the boiler room as well as on the walls below the stairs.
Needed a Tear Out
Since the structural integrity of the sheetrock and the baseboards were comprised, with the owner's permission, we removed them and disposed of them properly. Once we were finished, we treated the boiler room and the other affected areas with our EPA registered antimicrobial called MAPS 1. This targets mold on a cellular level and kills it immediately.
Removing the Mold
Next, we applied our mold stain remover and scrubbed away all the mold stains. Finally, we applied our patented sealant called MAPS 2, which encapsulates the surface mold is growing on and renders it harmless and non-allergenic. The bonus of MAPS 2 is that it's moisture sensitive and will reactivate whenever it gets wet to prevent any future mold growth.
