No Ventilation
The bathroom vent had been broken for a while and, as you can see, mold started to grow all over the ceiling.
Eliminating the Mold
The owner recently purchased a new vent for the bathroom and will install it once we're finished. So we treated the entire bathroom from top to bottom with our EPA registered antimicrobial called MAPS 1.
What Does MAPS 1 Do?
MAPS stands for Mold Abatement Polymer Solutions and this application attacks mold on a cellular level and kills it immediately. The next thing we did was apply our mold stain remover and scrubbed all the mold stains.
The Part of the Process
Lastly, we applied our patented sealant called MAPS 2. This application encapsulates the surface mold is growing on and renders it harmless and non-allergenic. It's also moisture sensitive and will reactivate whenever it gets wet to prevent any future mold growth!
