Mold on the Insulation
A while ago, a pipe bursted behind the wall. Although the leak was repaired, mold had grown.
Remove all the Contaminated Materials
First, we equipped our personal protective equipment and disposed of all the contaminated insulation and materials.
Now Apply MAPS
Next, we treated the area with our EPA registered antimicrobial called MAPS 1. MAPS stands for Mold Abatement Polymer Solutions and it attacks mold at its DNA and immediately kills it.
Away with the Stains
Afterward, we applied our mold stain remover, waited a while, and began scrubbing away the mold stains.
The Last Step: MAPS 2
Lastly, we applied our patented sealant called MAPS 2. MAPS 2 encapsulates the surface that mold is growing on and renders it non-allergenic and harmless. It's also moisture sensitive and reactivates whenever it gets wet to prevent future mold growth.
