Water Leak
While the deacon was away from the church, a water pipe bursted and flooded the main hall.
Moisture Plus the Humidity
Although the pipe has fixed and the water leak was stopped, the combination of the moisture and the high humidity level caused mold to form.
The Chairs Too
There was mold under the carpet, behind the wall, under the floor boards, and even on all the chairs.
None Were Salvageable
Unfortunately, all the chairs were contaminated and had to be thrown away.
Air Scrubbers
We set up our air scrubbers and began removing all the contaminated materials.

Clean Up the Water
Once everything was removed, we cleaned up all the water that was under the carpet.
MAPS 1
Once everything was dry we applied our EPA registered antimicrobial called MAPS 1.
Kills Mold Immediately
This antimicrobial attacks and instantly kills mold on a cellular level.
Scrubbed and Encapsulated
Next, we applied MAPS 2, which is a patented sealant that'll encapsulate the surface the mold is growing on and renders it non-allergenic and harmless.
Prevents Mold from Returning
MAPS 2 is also moisture sensitive and reactivates whenever it gets wet to prevent mold from returning. Lastly, we installed a commercial grade dehumidifier to keep the humidity levels at an appropriate level. Now the church is free from hazardous mold growth!
