Cracks in the Windows
After a full inspection, we discovered that there were several wide gaps in all the windows that allowed moisture to seep into the room and cause the mold growth. Since the owner was already renovating the room, that was an easy fix.
Patented Mold Remediation Technology
First, we applied MAPS 1, which is an antimicrobial that targets mold at its DNA and immediately kills it.
Now for Part 2
After wiping away the mold, we applied a patented sealant called MAPS 2. This moisture sensitive product encapsulates the surface mold is growing on and renders it non-allergenic and harmless. It also reactivates whenever it gets wet to prevent mold from returning.

Because the mold growth has been in the area for such a long period of time, it stained the walls. Fortunately, these stains are purely aesthetic and pose no health risk. Once MAPS 1 & 2 have been applied, mold is no longer a threat.
