Before beginning our inspection, we equipped our personal protective equipment (PPE), because mold is a biohazard in enclosed spaces.
On the Rafters
We inspected the attic and found mold growth on the rafters. The homeowner fixed the leak in his attic, but unfortunately mold had developed. To remedy this, we applied our EPA-registered antimicrobial solution called Mold Abatement Polymer Solutions (MAPS 1 for short). This solution targets mold at a cellular level and kills it instantly.
Now for Step 2
We then wiped & scrubbed away the mold and applied MAPS 2.
What is MAPS 2?
This is our patented sealant that encapsulates mold and renders it non-allergenic and harmless. MAPS 2 is also moisture sensitive and reactivates when it gets moist to prevent the growth of any future mold colonies.
