Easy to Spot
Spotting the mold in the kitchen was easy as it was all over the cabinets! What caused the mold? Apparently, the owner's dishwasher has been leaking for quite some time and he never felt the need to fix it. That is, until he noticed the mold!
Prep Time
We told the homeowner that he needs to remove the dishwasher and fix the leak. He agreed, removed the dishwasher, and called a plumber to fix the issue. Now we can begin treating.
Apply and Scrub
We applied an antimicrobial called MAPS 1. This application kills the mold on a cellular level. After treating the entire kitchen, we scrubbed away the visible mold.
Won't Come Back!
In order to prevent the mold from returning, we applied a patented sealant called MAPS 2. This encases the mold, which renders it non-allergenic. MAPS 2 is also moisture sensitive and will reactivate to prevent any future mold from growing. Now that the conducive conditions are fixed and MAPS 1 & 2 have been applied, mold is no longer an issue!
