Rafters Covered with Mold in Freehold, NJ

This customer in Freehold, NJ contacted Mold Solutions by Cowleys after finding an abundance of mold growing throughout his sunroom. After a thorough inspection, we determined that the conducive condition that caused the mold growth was high humidity levels.

First, we treated the entire sunroom with our EPA registered antimicrobial called MAPS 1, which stands for Mold Abatement Polymer Solutions. This antimicrobial will attack mold at it's DNA and kill it immediately. We then used our mold stain remover, scrubbed away all the excess mold staining, and then treated the area with MAPS 2.

MAPS 2 is our patented sealant that encapsulates the surface mold is growing on and renders it harmless, inert, and non-allergenic. It's also moisture-sensitive and will reactivate whenever it gets wet to prevent future mold growth. Finally, to control the humidity levels, we installed a commercial-grade dehumidifier.
