Leak Behind the Walls
While the owner was away, a pipe bursted behind the walls in the basement and water leak all over the basement. As you can see, this caused severe mold growth throughout the entire area.
Ceiling Tiles Falling Down
There was so much water damage that the ceiling tiles were crumbling!
Tear it All Out
The mold growth was so bad that a full mold remediation tear out was needed. As we began removing the sheetrock, we found more mold in the insulation and underneath the carpet! So we removed and disposed of all the contaminated materials.
Treating the Mold with MAPS
Once that was completed, we treated every single square inch of the basement with our EPA registered antimicrobial called MAPS 1. MAPS 1 will attack mold at its DNA and immediately kill it. Afterward, we applied our mold stain remover and scrubbed any and all mold stains.
Now for MAPS 2
Lastly, we applied MAPS 2. MAPS 2 is our patented sealant that encapsulates the surface mold is growing on and renders it harmless and non-allergenic. It's also moisture sensitive and will reactivate whenever it gets wet to prevent any future mold growth.
