Water All Over the Steps
As soon as we inspected this customers basement, we immediately noticed that there was a leak from a pipe above the steps and in the basement. As a result, mold had grown all over the steps...

...the joists, and the door frame. We told the owner what we found and he immediately called his plumber who came out ASAP to fix the leaky pipes.
Structural Damage
After the plumber had finished, we throughly reinspected the basement. Unfortunately, a lot of the wood, ceiling tiles, and sheetrock was structurally damaged from the water intrusion and couldn't be salvaged. A full on mold remediation was needed in the basement. First, we removed all of the mold contaminated materials and disposed of them properly.
Mold Abatement Polymer Solutions to the Rescue
After removing all of the contaminated materials, we treated the entire basement with our EPA registered antimicrobial called MAPS 1. This application targets mold at its DNA and immediately kills it. Next, we applied our mold stain remover and scrubbed away any and all mold stains. Lastly, we applied MAPS 2. MAPS 2 is our patented sealant that encapsulates the surface mold is growing on and renders it harmless and non-allergenic. The best part of MAPS 2 is that whenever it gets wet, it will reactivate to prevent any future mold growth.
