Left Vacant for Decades
The property had been left vacant for years and, as a result of poor ventilation, mold had developed in almost every single room.
Mold in the Shower
Especially in the bathroom. The first thing we did was treat every square inch of the home with our EPA registered antimicrobial called Mold Abatement Polymer Solutions (or MAPS 1 for short). This solution attacks mold on a cellular level and immediately kills it.
Scrubbed the Mold Away
Next, we applied our mold stain remover and scrubbed away all the mold stains. After that, we applied MAPS 2, which is our patented sealant that encapsulates the surface mold is growing on and renders it harmless, inert, and non-allergic.
Prevent Mold from Returning
One of the best features of MAPS 2, is that it's moisture sensitive and will reactivate whenever it gets wet to prevent any future mold growth. Finally, to control the humidity levels in the home, we installed a commercial grade Sedona dehumidifier. This dehumidifier cost less to run than other dehumidifiers, cover over 3000 square feet, are energy efficient, and will properly control the humidity levels in the home!
