Extensive Mold Growth
When we started inspecting the attic, we found mold growth throughout the rafters.
The Cause
The cause of the mold growth was due to poor ventilation. We informed the homeowner who told us that he will personally install several new attic fans after we finish our mold treatment.
Remove and Dispose
First, we removed all the items out of the attic, cleaned them off, and, with the homeowners permission, disposed of all perishable items.
MAPS 1
Next, we applied our EPA-registered antimicrobial solution called MAPS 1.
Immediately Kills Mold
MAPS 1 targets mold on a cellular level and kills it instantly.
Scrub and Apply MAPS 2
We then used our mold stain remover, scrubbed away all the excess mold staining throughout the rafters, and applied MAPS 2.
Prevents Mold from Coming Back
MAPS 2 encapsulates the surface mold is growing on and renders it harmless and non-allergenic. MAPS 2 is also moisture-sensitive and will reactivate whenever it gets wet to prevent future mold growth. Now the mold is removed and the homeowner has a healthy, mold-free attic.
