Drew Cowley, an Avon resident, is a commercial sales representative. He is no stranger to the family business, and has been working for Cowleys in various capacities since high school. Drew learned the pest control business from the ground up (or from the subterranean level, if you include termites). He started like everyone else in the pest control business – working in the field as a technician dealing with insects, rodents, and wildlife.
As a commercial sales representative, Drew explains Cowleys’ offerings to prospective clients, showing them how Cowleys can help improve their bottom line. Drew is quite proud of the company built by his dad and uncle, and enjoys “spreading the word” and doing his part grow the business. For Drew, the best way to bring prospective clients on board is to educate them about the best pest control solutions for their business. Drew works side-by-side with his younger brother, Rhett.
Drew is the son of Bill Cowley. To avoid confusion with the other Drew, Bill’s brother and co-owner, this Drew is informally known around the office as Little Drew. This moniker refers to their respective ages only. In height, “Little” Drew has the clear advantage over “Big” Drew. Drew is a graduate of Rutgers, majoring in sports management, which merged his love of sports with his interest in business, marketing, and accounting.
Drew is a licensed commercial applicator, holding his core certification and a variety of category certifications. He is also certified as a TAP insulation installer, one of Cowleys’ signature product offerings to its customers.
In his spare time, Drew relaxes by playing all types of sports, especially basketball. He also loves surfing and appreciates living close to the ocean in Avon. If its summer and there are “epic swells,” Drew is easy to find. Just head over to the L Jetty in Avon or the Inlet Beach in Manasquan, and he’ll be there!
