The new way to kill mold and keep it from coming back.
Serving Central NJ, Middletown, Woodbridge, Toms River
Bill has been working side-by-side with his brother Drew for nearly three decades transforming Cowleys into one of Monmouth and Ocean County’s largest full-service pest control companies with 35 full-time staff and more than 10,000 residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
Drew operated Cowleys as a sole proprietorship for its first five years. When Bill came on board in 1996, the growth and trajectory of the company forever changed. Although today’s Cowleys is a far cry from its humble beginnings, the company’s underlying values remain the same. Cowleys believes that a company can only achieve long-term success if it adheres to the highest ethical standards and operates as a cohesive team with a customer-first philosophy. Customers and employees alike must be treated well. Every pest infestation, every bird and wildlife project, every crawl space encapsulation, and every mold bioremediation project must be completed expeditiously and done right. Exceeding customer expectations must be the norm, not the exception.
Through Bill’s substantial business experience, he worked hard to implement his vision of building a pest control services that offers a comprehensive array of often interrelated services. Cowleys core business is and will always be pest control services. However, today it also offers a cluster of related services with one objective in mind: to promote a healthy living environment for families and occupants of homes and businesses. This means living environments that are pest-free, mold-free, and are circulating with crisp, clean indoor air. To prevent pest infestations and dangerous mold growth, homes and businesses require dry, clean basements and crawl spaces. Bill has worked diligently to create a multi-division company that includes crawl space encapsulation, pest control insulation, mold treatment services, and other property protection services.
From the time Drew founded business in November 1991, sales went from nothing in 1991 to $120,000 in 1996. It was a major accomplishment for Drew to even survive in this highly competitive field. But that was only the beginning. The Drew-Bill business partnership proved to be unstoppable. Leveraging each other’s strengths, over to next 20 years to 2016, Cowleys was transformed from Drew and his truck into one of Monmouth County’s largest full-service pest control companies servicing over 10,000 residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Sales skyrocketed. But even beyond the sales numbers, Drew and Bill are especially proud of building a company that now provides full-time employment to nearly thirty technicians and administrative staff.
So, this is the Cowleys story: Two hard-working brothers who worked together to build an amazing business. The operative word is partnership. Neither brother believes that they could have done this all by themselves. Cowleys is and will continue to be a joint effort. Cowleys Pest Control Services is a living lesson in synergy – creating a whole bigger and better than the sum of its parts.
In 2011, Cowleys Pest Services founded its new division, Mold Solutions by Cowleys, to help our clients resolve mold issues in a way that would complement our core pest control business. We’ve since helped hundreds of New Jersey residents, especially in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy.
We are proud to offer New Jersey homeowners a more effective, more economical, and less intrusive way to solve their mold issues.
